Better World Initiatives
Beyond this pioneering work, Winmark regularly leads on initiatives seeking to make the world a better place. These range from small projects, such as making legal contracts more accessible through using infographics, up to ambitious ‘Better World Initiatives’. Some of our current initiatives are outlined below:
Global Government Network (GGN)
UK Industrial Strategy (UKIS)
In 2023 following conversations with Heathrow Airport, National Grid and Hinkley Point, Winmark is building a UK Industrial Strategy (UKIS). UKIS will help make the UK a more attractive place to live, work and invest in. It will also create a vision of the future with a plan that enables sustainable infrastructure and people investments.
HM Treasury and other related Government bodies are being kept in the loop.
Fortune Out Of a Box (FOOB)
Winmark’s FOOB strategy is designed to enable members to access everything they need to create a blue-chip ‘Fortune’ company department from scratch. This resource can be dipped into as required to fill and improve current management practices. Building FOOB across over 16 networks is a significant 2-year programme, finishing in 2025.
